A large groups of devotees visited the
London Buddhist Vihara through out 1st
January to to
offer prayers and participate in various
religious programmes held there.
From early in the morning Buddha Puja,
Buddha Wandanaa, Dhana and Pirith Chanting
were held to bless everyone who visited the
Vihara and special arrangements were made to
chant Seth Pirith during pre-arranged times
of the day.

Bogoda Seelavimala Nayaka Thera and all the
resident monks took part in these
mid day Dana for the Maha Sangha was offered
by the Sri Lanka High Commission.
Seelawimala Nayaka Thera in a Anusasana,
gave a detailed account of services rendered
by the Vihara during the past year. He paid
Punyanumodana, gratitude and appreciation to everyone
who visited the temple during the past year
and helped in various ways to continue the
Dhamma Dutha work.He specially remembered
the enormous support received from the
temple management committee, Anagarika
Dharmapala Trust, the Sri Lankan Temples in
the UK and all the devotees and well-wishers
of the temple during the last 12 months.
