London Kingsbury Temple Welcomes New High Commissioner of Sri Lanka

Her Excellency Amari Wijewardena, the newly appointed High Commissioner for Sri Lanka to the Court of St James visited the Sri Saddhatissa International Buddhist Centre to pay her respects to Aggamahapandita Venerable Galayaye Piyadassi Sangha Nayaka Thero of the UK.  The High Commissioner was accompanied by Mr Sugeeshwara Gunaratna, Deputy High Commissioner and Mr Manoj Warnapala, Minister Councillor for Education and Culture of the High Commission.


Her Excellency was warmly received by the Sangha Nayaka Thero who was joined by Ven. Dr HanduPelpola Mahinda Nayaka Thero, Ven. Vaskaduwe Subodhi Thero and Ven. Galayaye Dhammadassi Thero in chanting Seth Pirith and offering the Blessings of the Holy Triple Gem for a successful tenure.
