Gilampasa Buddha Puja in London to Bless General Sarath Fonseka on his 61st Birthday.

U.K. branch of the United National Party and friends and supporters of former army commander General Sarath Fonseka held a gilampasa Buddha Puja to bless him on his 61st birth day. In a message sent specially for the occasion General Fionseka thanked the organisers for thinking about him on his birth day and said that he does not wish to discuss the current political situation in Sri Lanka as the event was held in a temple. Despite the bitterly cold winter weather many people attended the puja.
