All Night Pirith Chanting Birmingham Jethavana Buddhist Vihara- 26th June 2010

All Night Chanting 2010 at Jethavana Buddhist Vihara, Birmingham was successful with hundreds of devotees gathering at the temple premises all over the night on 26th June 2010 until 27th June 2010 Dana under the guidance of Head of Vihara, Venerable Keppetiyagoda Gunawansa Maha Thera and all devotees of Jethavana Buddhist Vihara contributed the ceremony. Paritta chanting was sponsored by Mr & Mrs Ragu Vijayaprakash and the dinner of the devotees’ was sponsored by Mr & Mrs.Richard Ellawala. A wooden pedestal for the Buddha statue is donated in memory of Dr.B.L Perera by Mrs.Shanthi Perera and son, Dr.Nevil Perera.

Following monks from different Buddhist Vihara around UK participated to the chanting. Venerable Galayaye Piyadassia Maha Nayake thera, the head monk of Saddatissa International Buddhist Centre, Kingsbury, London and Nepal Sumana thera and Venerable Samaneliye Piyadassi thera. Venerable Pidiville Piyatissa Maha thera, Head monk of  Ketumati Buddhist Vihara, Manchester and Venerable Kirimetiyane Dhammika thera, Venerable Dunukewatte Rathanajothi Maha thera, The head monk of Leicester Buddhist Vihara and Ven.Teldeniye Amitha thera, Venerable Dr.Kabalawe Sirisumana Maha thera, The Head monk of Plastow Buddha Vihara, East London and Venerable Dediyawala Wimala Maha thera, Venerable Pinikahane Gnanawasa Maha thera, The chief incumbent of Saranathe Buddhist center,Gangodawila, Sri Lanka, Venerable Tawalama Bandula thera, The Deputy  Head monk of  London Buddhist vihara and Venerable Konwawe Ariyarathana thera. Venerable Witharandeniye Samitha thera and Venerable Panamure Tapassi thera from Buddhist Maha Vihara, Birmingham.
