A truly traditional welcome, in keeping with the Ayubowan theme and amidst the sound of drums and Kandyan dancers, the much awaited  New Year’s Eve Dinner Dance took to the floor  at the 5* luxury Grange City Hotel. 

The Guests were greeted by President Shanthini Ahangama & Committee with a warm ‘Ayubowan’ and offered a choice of New Year novelties of masks and hats. The ‘Auditorium’ was elegantly set-up in black and silver, with tall silver candelabra’s on silver mirrors with black candles creating a warm classy ambiance. 

The Sri Lankan buffet was outstanding, in keeping with the Grange quality of service and style and the merry making went on until 2am to the sounds of Sky High; A very professional Sri Lankan band who knows how to entertain. The 260 guests were blown away, when at Midnight the ‘London Eye’ fireworks came on the live screen and trays of Milk Rice and accompaniments were served.
