Janahada Foundation, UK donated 59 quality wheelchairs to the Seva Vanitha Army Branch

Janahada Foundation, UK donated 59 quality wheelchairs to the Seva Vanitha Army Branch. The organization operating from No-28, Corpotation Avenue, Hounslow, UK, wanted those wheelchairs be given to the Army hospital for use of soldiers who turned disable in the war.
Senior officers of the organization symbolically handed over four wheel chairs to four disable inmates at Colombo Army Hospital on the occasion.
Representing the organization, its President, local coordinators Ms. Nandawathi, Ms. Thisitha Fernando, Ms. Jayantha Fernando, Ms. Chamath De Silva and Mr. Piyasena Bopage attended the occasion.

The Hounslow Sri Lanka Janahanda Foundation organised a special function to felicitate the young children who performed various cultural events at the Foundation's Sinhala-Tamil New Year celebrations held on 18th April at the Lampton School, Hounslow.
The felicitation event was held on 9th May at the Multi Cultural Community Centre, Hounslow. The objective of this event was to encourage and motivate the children who took part in the past events. The participant children were presented with gifts by the President of the Janahanda Foundation, Mr. Sri Lal Dias and Shrian, Gaminai Ranatunga. Asiri bandara, Marzook Azrd, Fazal. Janaka Allahapperuma, Wijeratna Bandara, Ranjan. Chalani Wijesekara. Manoja Almeda, and other Office-bearers. A dinner and musical entertainment followed the presentation of gifts

The presentation of the return air ticket to the winner of the New Year Raffle Draw  took place at Sri Lankan Airlines London Office. Mr Jeremy Soertsz, made the presentation. Ms Imasha Dahanayaka of the Sri Lankan Airlines office and office-bearers of the Foundation were also present.
