Buddhist Maha Vihara held its annual Wesak celebrations
on 09th Saturday of May 2009. It was one of the most
successful programme ever held. There have been over 500
people attended representing devotees from different
nationalities. There have been Sinhalese, Tamils,
Indians, Chinese, Vietnamese, Nepalese, Burmese, Thais
Japanese and English.
There have been monks from different Buddhist temples in
Birmingham as well as other temples in the UK among them
Burmese Buddhist Vihara, Jetavana Buddhist Vihara,
Punjabi Buddhist Vihara, Letchworth Dhammanikethanaya as
well as Bangladws monks |
