Sri Lankan new year
festival in Kingsbury was held for the
19th consecutive year at Harrow Leisure
Centre on Sunday 12th April
2009. This event was organized by Sri
Lankan Educational, Cultural & Welfare
Foundation in the UK (SLECWF - UK).
There were many distinguished guests
were attended for the evening cultural
show including Ven Galayaye Piyadassi
MBE, Head of SSIBC, HE Justice Nihal
Jayasinghe, the High Commissioner of Sri
Lanka & Mrs Indra Jayasinghe, His
worship Cllr. John Nicolay, Mayor of the
London Borough of Harrow & Mayoress
Joyce Nicolay, Rt.Hon Tony McNulty,
Minister of Employment and MP for Harrow
East, His worship Cllr. John Marshall,
Mayor of Brent, HE Sumith Nakandala,
